Cottage 3 minute walk from the Baltic sea

Gräskö is a beautiful island in the archipelago outside Norrtälje. There are no cars on the island but it is easily accessible by Waxholmsbolaget boats/ferries from Stockholm City (summer timetable), Furusund and östernäs (parking is available in östernäs but may get busy in the summer). It is also easy to visit the neighboring islands Norröra, Söderöra and Rödlöga. The island is very child friendly with a small communal beach. It is also possible to swim from the nearby jetty. There are tracks around the island, perfect for walking or jogging. There are a couple of bikes that you are welcome to use. There is a small shop on the island that is open during the summer and the children on the island take turn to run a café from time to time.


The house has a well equipped kitchen, a dining table that seats 10 and a sofa / TV area and an open fire. There are 4 bedrooms (large double, small double (120cm bed), small double (120cm bed) and a single bed), a bathroom with a shower, washing machine. There is a small newly renovated guest hut with a large double bed (no WC). There is a large wooden deck with outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ.

It is possible to hire a small boat with a 4hp engine or a mooring if you have your own boat.
