Cozy cottage by lake and near skiing - Funäsdalen

Welcome to rent our newly built & cozy log cabin in Jämtland's fantastic mountain & nature environment! Just by the water and with its own barbecue grill, own dock by the water. So cozy we can promise. We hope you will enjoy your stay here!

The cottage is bright & open with large windows.
There are two bedrooms. With two beds in each room, total four beds, two of them in size bigger, 120cm. Modern kitchen with oven, fridge, freezer and micro.
Cozy fireplacce and underfloor heating in bathroom.
Flat-screen TV / DVD and home cinema with Bluetooth.
Private parking at the house.

Situated on stunning lake views, the house is located in the mountain village of Messlingen. Perfect for those who want to hike, go skiing, snowmobiling, fishing or just enjoying nature and stillness.

The cottage is also rented out for longer periods and for returning guests.

About 30 minutes to funäsdalen (30km) Tänndalen, Ramundberget.
About 32 minutes to Ljungdalen (31km)

Winter / spring
If you like cross-country skiing without queues and hikes, we can recommend Kappruet which is only 3 km from the cottage. There is also a groomed trail. A larger long-distance system is located in Messlingen 500 m from the cottage.
Then there are the major ski areas Funäsdalsberget, Ramundberget, Bruksvallarna and Tänndalen within 30-40 minutes drive.

Summer autumn
The cottage is close to fantastic hiking tours, both long and short. The most famous are Flatruet, Helags mountain station, Eva graven, Anådalen, Mittåkläppen. Also a number of marked mtb leads nearby. Many nice fishing opportunities in the area.

Own barbecue grill for mystical barbecue evenings and own dock on the water for fishing.

Messlingen also has its own child-friendly ski slope with evening skiing.
Slalom / Snowboard - Nearest facility Kappruet, 3 km. Nice and child-friendly alpine facility. (kappruet.se)
Other Alpine: Close to Funäsdalen, Ramundberget, Tänndalen.

Snowmobile driving - 45 miles of snowmobile trail, 100 m walk, snowmobile is available for rent in Messlingen
