Old farmhouse on the coast of the Baltic Sea

On the Stora Askö island in the Tjust archipelago you find our farmhouse from 1870. The farm is close to the nearby village of Loftahammar and to the city of Västervik in Småland. It offers a quiet and beautiful stay. Part of boatshed with a rowing boat and sundeck in southwest gives the possibilities for bathing and fishing in the Baltic Sea.
The farmhouse is a two story building, 135 square meters, and has modern standard. The old house with wooden floors, fireplaces and old windows gives a true 19-century feeling. The upper floor has a big bedroom and a kitchen. The ground floor has a living with a sofa-bed and yet another room.
The modern attachment has wc, shower, sauna and a washing machine. There is a fully equipped kitchen.
Adjacent to the farm house there is a smaller cottage with a kitchen and three beds.
During the summer months, there is a little grocery shop on the island. The closest village is Loftahammar, at 15 km.
