Steninge is a quiet and peaceful village with walks and beach, if you not in the mood of cooking we recommend a short walk down to the two resturants Skepparstugan and Göstas cafe right by the ocean. At Götas its also possible to have a beer, icecream or just a coffee and enjoy the view of the ocean. In the proximity of Steninge there is several local shops that sell local brewed apple cider. From Steninge its a 20 mins car ride into Halmstad, the summercity of choice for many Swedes. 45 mins with the car will take you to Ullared, the biggest shopping in Sweden with over 2 million visitors a year.
